VIJAYAWADA: Olympic silver medallist PV Sindhu will soon be joining the Andhra Pradesh government as Group-I officer.
Elated with Sindhu accepting its job offer, the TDP government has initiated the process of issuing a formal order. She will first be recruited as deputy collector. The state government recently received the formal acceptance letter from Sindhu to join Group-I service in the state.
"We have received the acceptance letter from Sindhu. Orders appointing her as Group-I officer will be issued soon," special chief secretary LV Subramanyam said.
