1889First Commercial Jukebox
             Congratulations to the first commercial jukebox which was installed in San Francisco, CA. it was called the “Nickel-in-the-Slot”, and played wax cylinder records. Within 6 months it would earn $1,000. The work “Juke” – by the way – means ‘disorderly house’ – therefore this is a disorderly box of music Put another nickel in – in the Nickelodean – All I want is having you – and Music, music, music.

 1963 – At 5:16 PM the BBC premiered its new family science fiction show, Doctor Who, with its first episode, “An Unearthly Child.”

1992Business Week Predicts Computer Industry “On the Skids”
              With IBM projected to lose $5 billion in 1992, Business Week describes the computer business as “an industry on the skids.” The magazine cited layoffs at most established computer companies, such as IBM, as well as newer firms like Sun Microsystems Inc., as evidence that the industry was saturated. A solution, the article concluded, would be for each business to find its proper niche.

2004World of Warcraft Released
              Blizzard Entertainment releases the massively multiplayer online role-playing game world of Warcraft. World of Warcraft is currently the most popular online game in history.

2015 – Blue Origin successfully launched its BE – 3 rocket carrying an unoccupied New Shepard space capsule to a suborbital height of 100.5 km and landed the used rocket safely on the ground.
